Bathos

Long ago Bathos was a beautiful paradise. However its neighbors in the planets solarsystem were very aggresive and warlike. Due to centuries united under one government the Bathosians were able to pool their resources and advance their technology far enough to enable them to fend off their neighbors. However due to changes in its political structure and genetic engineering to be more fit for battle the Bathosians lost their way of peace and became invaders of worlds. Their lust for conquest caused the destruction of the surrounding planets and even their own sun leaving Bathos shrouded in darkness and surrounded by the remains of the other worlds. With their sun lost all plant life died off and the atmosphere of bathos became unbreathable. The surface became a frozen wasteland. The Bathosians were forced to create massive domes and burrrow deap inside the planet to tap the heat of its core. Colonies were astablished on the many astroids now surrounding the planet with propulsion systems on the larger ones to keep Bathos safe. Now with an emense amount of raw material the Bathosians have begun to spread outward conquering new worlds and bringing them under the influence of the Bathosian Empire.
